About us

Tania Braukamper is the “people” behind Penned by People. She started out her professional life as an IT project manager, but after her side hustle (a fashion publication) took off, she ended up working full-time for 7 years as a fashion writer and editor.

A few major life adventures later (long story—ask her some time), and there she was, leaving all her exorbitantly priced designer clothes behind to set up life in a new country as a freelancer.

She’s now been a freelance writer and editor for more than 10 years. Yep, time flies.

We could say it ends there, but it doesn’t—because along comes AI to shake things up again. And so, a new passion is born: weaving together the time-saving shortcuts of AI with genuine human storytelling. That’s why we’re here. That’s what Penned by People is all about.
